Are you up for the adventure?

Colorado Springs is such a unique destination, and is certainly one full of excitement! The question is – are you up for the adventure? Just a short drive away, jump on in the chilly water and get ready for some action! Let’s explore my personal favorite – White Water Rafting at the Royal Gorge!

Climb on a bus and have one of Lost Paddle Rafting’s awesome guides instruct you on the “do’s and don’ts” of rafting while you are heading to the rapids. They have half-day and full-day trips ranging from Class III Rapids to Class IV Rapids, so choose wisely!

Once you arrive get your helmet on and your oars in hand – it’s time to go for a paddle in the Arkansas River!! Each raft rides four to six passengers plus your very own instructor who is there to help you navigate through the river. They also do a great job of pointing out the extras cool stuff on the sidelines – like Bighorn sheep or any other cool wildlife that may go unnoticed.

There are a few things you may want to bring for this adventure – a swimsuit, water shoes, sunscreen, a waterproof disposable camera, sunglasses and a dry change of clothes! Things that are provided for you include Personal Flotation Devices, helmets, transportation, wet suits, a personal river guide, and last, but certainly not least… FUN!
