Disney Magical Vacations!
The mystic draw of Walt Disney World has captured my family’s heart and mind. We are Florida natives, less than two hours from the most magical place on the planet so it’s a given that we would be resident pass holders. How can we resist Mickey and Minnie? There’s just something about walking down Main Street U.S.A. towards Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom that brings out the child in all of us.
Every special occasion, holiday or even just a free weekend we sneak off to Disney World to escape. We’ve stayed in almost every resort on property and even spent a week at Fort Wilderness Campground “roughing it”. Our kids love the Disney themed rooms and beautifully landscaped grounds. Little detail like towels folded into the shape of a bunny or Mickey shaped soap bring an extra touch of whimsical fun to the stay. Staying on property is a must for us because we love the monorail and Disney Express Bus services that make Park Hopping a breeze.
Disney World offers so many different experiences. There are four amazing theme parks to explore, the original most beloved Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the newest fan favorite, Animal Kingdom. When you’re done living it up at the parks venture out to one of Disney’s other attractions. There is Downtown Disney for more yummy eats and great shopping. Disney Quest has cutting edge interactive indoor games. You can see a new release movie at the AMC 24. Disney Bowling Lanes or one of two over the top themed Miniature Golf courses may interest your family. Don’t forget some grown up fun at the House of Blues. Head over to Disney’s Boardwalk for a stroll down memory lane on a quarter mile promenade that hosts the ESPN Club with live radio telecasts. You can also visit the amazing sports venue Disney’s Wide World of Sports for Atlanta Braves spring training and an array of youth sports tournaments.
If there is one thing that everyone who’s ever visited Disney will agree upon, it’s that Disney provides first class service. With all the fun and amazing experiences to be had it is no wonder we continue to visit again and again. Disney World is an amazing place to make memories and for our family truly the “Happiest Place on Earth”!
