Have you ever wanted to jump out of a plane? Think you’re too scared to actually take the leap? iFLY Orlando has the perfect solution for you… indoor skydiving!

iFLY Indoor Skydiving/Vertical Wind Tunnel gives you the sensation of skydiving without all of the “strings” attached (or strings that have to be pulled!). iFLY provides those who have never been skydiving an experience in a wind tunnel, where you hover for a couple of minutes like you would during a free fall if you had jumped out of a plane. It’s a great adrenaline rush and gives you an idea of what skydiving might be like in case you are considering the “real thing” but haven’t made up your mind yet. For the seasoned skydiver, iFLY is a great place to practice tricks and turns, and costs a lot less than jumping each time for practice. Many seasoned skydivers use iFLY regularly to hone their skills.

Before you actually get into the tunnel, a professional instructor gives you a review of what you are going to do and how to do it well. At iFLY Orlando, Devon was our pro, and he made us all feel very comfortable and confident. Then it’s time to suite up! iFLY provides jumpsuits, goggles and ear plugs for each flyer. Once you are dressed and ready, you enter the wind tunnel room and take your seats with a direct view of the tunnel. It’s almost just as fun watching your co-flyers get in there and spin around as it is doing it yourself. You fly one at a time, and when each person enters, your pro goes in with you to keep you on the right track. And like skydiving, you have the option of purchasing a DVD of your flight. It’s fun to watch a video of yourself after the flight. Sometimes you’re so excited to fly, you almost forget what happens. The DVD gives you a full account of your hovering, turns, and ups and downs!

iFLY Orlando is conveniently located on International Drive in the heart of Orlando. There are almost no restrictions on who can fly. You can be as young as 3 years old (and we’ve seen it!) and as old as you like. So while you’re in Orlando visiting the Mouse, make sure you get some airtime in at iFLY!
