Mmmm…Cookies!

Here at Green Light Group Tours, Christmas is a very special holiday! Not only do we get a few days off and some extra time with our wonderful family and friends…But we even get to indulge in some friendly office competition and the satisfaction of sending our customers something homemade… That’s right!! Every year we team up and send out a new favorite holiday treat! Each recipient votes online and the winner takes bragging rights for the entire year! Here’s how our annual tradition started…

When Apryl was a child, a family friend would deliver a can of O'Henry bars to their house each December. They were met with excitement – it marked the beginning of Christmas for their family and those cookies were SO good!! When deciding what to send our customers for Christmas, we wanted to put a smile on their faces, just like those childhood cookies had done for us. So, logically we sent out a tin of O'Henry Bars!! That first year we made 40 tins. As Green Light added employees and customers, it has become a cookie competition and this year we shipped boxes to 230 clients!! And for those of you doing the math right now, that is roughly 4,000 cookies!
