Notre Dame Cathedral
Notre-Dame de Paris, referred to simply as Notre-Dame, is a medieval Catholic cathedral. Built between 1163 and 1245, it’s one of the oldest gothic cathedrals in the world. Dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, Notre-Dame in English means ‘Our Lady.’
This popular landmark is the symbolic heart of the city. You and your students will be fascinated by the impressive details of the architecture, including the flying buttresses, gargoyles, and rose windows, as you explore this beautiful cathedral.

The Louvre
Originally built as a castle in the late 12th to 13th century, the Louvre is the world’s largest art museum and a historical monument in itself.
